A strong decision by the president of Olympique de Marseille was criticized this week.
Double standards… Daniel Riolo castigated Pablo Longoria's choice to oppose displaying a reference to Qatar on the jersey of theMarseille Olympic. If the RMC journalist fully understands this initial decision, Riolo believes that it is not consistent with the positions of the president of OM alongside Vincent Labrune and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
“That OM does not want to advertise Qatar is understandable… But then why did they sign the contract? Why did you support the associates (Vincent) Labrune and NAK (Nasser Al-Khelaïfi) on 09/10?? That, however, is less understandable… launched the journalist.
“Don’t take us for idiots”
And Riolo clarifies his thoughts.“The contract was signed and the deal accepted. I can't believe that's not the case. You voted for the (Vincent) Labrune/Nasser (Al-Khelaïfi) pair, don't take us for idiots. Don’t be fake just to play demagogue to your audience.”
Often complimentary of Pablo Longoria, Daniel Riolo remains a firm opponent of the re-election of Vincent Labrune at the helm of the Professional Football League.
