Mbappé not called up because of his level?
In his responses to journalists, Didier Deschamps explained his choice not to select Kylian Mbappé : « I had several exchanges with him. I thought about it and made this decision about this gathering. I think it's better like this. I'm not going to argue. » He also mentioned his complicated start to the season, but this does not seem to be an admissible argument, Randal First Class appearing in the list.
Mbappé's start to the season serves as an excuse for Deschamps?
« What I can tell you, two things: Kylian wanted to come, and it's not the extra-sporting problems that come into play from the moment the presumption of innocence exists. It's a one-off choice for this gathering with the two matches that await us », continued the coach of the Blues. According to The Parisian, Deschamps would not ignore the mental load that has surrounded his player since the start of the season.
