Taking advantage of the Eagle connection, Islam Halifa left OL on loan to join Molenbeek. In Belgian D2, the midfielder is having a blast and was voted player of the month by RWDM supporters.

Since theOL entered the Eagle Football fold, we cannot say that the exchanges with the RWD Molenbeek have been fruitful. The situation could well change this season with the loans of Islam Caliph and Ashraf Lazarus in Belgium. The two players from the reserve took advantage of the connection between the two clubs to gain playing time in Belgian D2. The season is still long but the bet is rather successful for the moment. The RWDM is at the head of the championship and won Friday against its direct competitor Zulte-Waregem (2-1). A success in which the Lyon players on loan once again distinguished themselves. Laaziri opened the scoring to Ziani (5th) beforeAbe put Molenbeek definitely in front ten minutes from the end on a pass from Halifax.

The latter is perfectly fulfilled in his new club and can play a series of matches in a professional championship. Sanctioned on Friday, he left his place at the very end of the match and received an ovation from the Edmond Machtens stadium which made him one of its favorites. Islam's notable performances Caliph also allowed him to be elected player of the month for October by RWDM supporters. Once things are going well, all that remains is to hope that they last.
