A week ago, an OM with great confidence was impatiently waiting to challenge PSG in a Classic which promised to be particularly fierce. Eight days later, the situation changed with a shock that was not one, where Paris largely won (3-0) in particular because of Harit's red which changed the scenario of the match, but also and above all because Roberto De Zerbi's men were not in tune from the first minute. A failure which did its job against a Marseille public who were waiting for a great evening for the De Zerbi ball.
Merlin will make his return
Obviously, an immediate reaction is therefore expected from the OM players who travel to the Nantes pitch this Sunday evening. And before this meeting, Roberto De Zerbi welcomes excellent news. While his return was planned for PSG, and finally postponed, Quentin Merlin, absent since September, should indeed be part of the group which goes to Beaujoire after the Minute OM. A big contribution for De Zerbi who had made the versatile full-back a centerpiece of his tactical system. It remains to be seen whether Merlin will be able to start this meeting.
