A possible asset to recover the FCGB
It is in L’Équipe that Bruno Fievet reveals his intention to buy Matmut Atlantique. He, who makes no secret of wanting to acquire the Girondins de Bordeaux, took action on the stadium, one of the only possible assets for the future of the club.
He made an oral offer of €100M below the expectations of the Metropolis. It is supported by a local investor specializing in real estate and a Golf investor. Additionally, another proposal should be submitted.
“We must change the current economic model. This involves creating value, and the stadium is precisely an asset that can represent value for the club.“, he told the sports daily.
“The club has €118 million in debt and is worth nothing today. The only way to give it value is to associate it with an asset that has it. This is the case with the stadium“, he concluded.
Last week, Daniel Riolo revealed Bruno Fievet’s offer to purchase the stadium.
