The 2024 summer transfer window marked the end of an era in PSG. Kylian Mbappé left the capital club after seven years to sign free for Real Madrid. The 2018 world champion has left a big void behind him among the Red-and-Bluewhich was not filled since the Parisian team did not recruit anyone in attack this summer.
PSG is interested in Erling Haaland
The PSG could, however, correct the situation in 2025. The resident of the Ligue 1 would still be looking for a new striker to replace Kylian Mbappé and would thus think of Erling Haaland. The Norwegian would be open to the idea of a new challenge outside the Premier League despite his contract which binds him to Manchester City until June 2027.
Barça is banking on 2026 for its transfer
But the FC Barcelona would also be on the spot. However, the Catalan club would not be sufficiently armed from an economic point of view to be able to recruit Erling Haaland as reported Caught Offside. The Barça would thus find himself out of the running for 2025 for the 24-year-old striker, but would be banking on a transfer in 2026. The PSG could therefore benefit from it, since the Red-and-Blue would have one less contender on this file for next summer. To be continued…
