Former FC Barcelona great Rivaldo believes Hansi Flick still has everything to prove at the helm of the Blaugrana team.
FC Barcelona icon Rivaldo has warned team coach Hansi Flick that expectations at Camp Nou are very high.
The German has had an impressive start at the helm of Barça. But Rivaldo is not yet won over. He is waiting to see over time. In an interview with Marca, he confided:
“In big teams like Barça, everything depends on the results. It is true that Flick’s Barça is performing phenomenally… but there is still a lot of championship ahead of us.”

“There are also a lot of Champions League matches, a lot of domestic matches, the Cup. I would be careful and wait until the end of the season,” added the 1999 Ballon d’Or.
Finally, the Brazilian indicated that Flick probably won’t survive a season without trophies, no matter how good the game is. “At Barça, the only thing that matters is reaching the final and winning titles. If you don’t bring a title to the trophy cabinet, the fans and the press will question you. But that said… I see a different Barça than last season and I think they already have everything they need to win important titles. But… we have to wait.”
