For FC Expat, Peter Luccinassistant coach of FC Dallas, and former midfielder for the Girondins de , spoke about his taste for expatriation. Does he miss ?

“I miss France and always have missed it. This is my country. I love my country. Even though once again, I know everything that is happening with my country, I am not behind. I am in contact with my family every day so I know what is happening in my country too. I can be sad about that. But in any case everything is going into a tailspin. It’s true that it could be France, Spain, which has always been a neutral country, we see that they too are starting to have problems. It’s a bit like the Bronx everywhere, although I don’t want to be pessimistic. France remains my country, it remains my country and I am proud of my country. I miss my country and that’s why after ten or twelve years, I’m considering a return too”

“My family is my priority. My priority goal is to be head coach in Europe, but each thing in its time. Above all, my family comes first. My daughter is in college, my two boys are in Dallas, so they are more or less settled. If we were to return to Europe, there would be no problem. There, we are no longer in a time where I could possibly return to Europe.”
