Stade Rennais is in a bad situation. Despite the return of Julien Stéphan and more than €80 million spent during the last summer transfer window, the Breton club is tenth in the Ligue 1 standings with only two victories and six matches. And as was announced, the executive president, Olivier Cloarec, was fired. In office since 2022, he was replaced by Arnaud Pouille, who held the position of general manager at RC Lens.
