Since his arrival at the Girondins de , Bruno Irles still does not have an educator contract but just a manager’s license.

As we indicated on August 30, Bruno Irles and his assistant Dado Prso do not have an educator license with the Girondins de Bordeaux. For the moment, they only have a manager license. The Girondins de Bordeaux therefore do not have an educator registered for their flagship team in National 2. Which is nevertheless mandatory. “Every team must be supervised by the coach in charge of it, in accordance with the obligations of the Status of Football Educators and Coaches and who must therefore take a seat on the bench and be mentioned on the match sheet” indicates article 25.5 of the championship regulations.

Our colleagues from Sud-Ouest explain that the absence of a technical license is due to the implementation of the Job Protection Plan (PSE) currently underway at the Girondins. The club is indeed obliged to offer the job of head coach of its National 2 team to salaried educators with the required diploma, i.e. the DES. If these educators refuse the position, it will then be possible to contract with Bruno Irles.

In the meantime, the Girondins are in breach of the federal status of educators. They will be fined 1,500 euros per match where there was no educator registered with the FFF. But the Bordeaux club could also lose a point in the standings after the fifth absence, as was the case for many clubs last season. The federal commission will study the case soon.
