On TV7, the former Girondins de Bordeaux striker,
Hervé Bugnettoday commentating on the home matches on FCGB on the Sud Ouest group channel, spoke about several Bordeaux players, starting with Adrien Louveau.
“He’s the hub, yes. This player has been very interesting since the start of the season. He does a lot of good in midfield, and all the balls go through him. He defends, he always gets information before receiving the ball, which is very important, and that allows him to be one step ahead of his opponents.”
Then he mentioned the Bordeaux goalkeeper Lassana Diabate.

So he quoted Marc Planus as an example.
“We talk about big, strong defenders… But I have a friend who played a few matches in Ligue 1 and his name is Marc Planus… He wasn’t very tall either, and he wasn’t very fast either, but he was very forward-thinking. That allowed him to have a great career. He’s a legend at the Girondins de Bordeaux. Marc doesn’t speak often, and he doesn’t like to expose himself too much in the media, but when he talks about his favorite club, as is the case for me, Rio, Paul, Pierre Ducasse, and lots of players from the Bordeaux region… Marc is an institution at the Girondins de Bordeaux; he never left the club, he was always there. I was lucky enough to play with him since I was ten years old in the youth teams.”
