Miguel Terceros, scorer of the winning goal against Colombia, is looking forward to his side’s clash against the world champions and has made it clear they will give their all at the Monumental.

The Bolivia national team is having a big moment after recording their third consecutive victory in the South American qualifiers. Yesterday, they ended Colombia’s unbeaten run with a spectacular goal from Miguel Terceros, a 20-year-old striker playing for Santos in Brazil’s Serie B side.

Having already scored in previous victories against Venezuela and Chile, Terceros cemented his status as one of the star players of the Bolivian team. After the remarkable victory, in which Bolivia played with ten men since the 20th minute of the first half, Terceros looks to the upcoming match against Argentina next Tuesday and issues a strong warning.

“For us, every match is the same; we will go to Argentina with the same goal of winning. I am very happy with the goals, because we always want to help the team in every way possible. I remain calm; it is not not a goal that I set for myself (to score), I just want to help the team,” he said.

He added: “I am very happy for the affection of all the supporters, which has been palpable since the first matches; this is a group of young players who want to win, who want to change the history of Bolivia , and we are working on it.”

With this victory, the Bolivian team reached 12 points, placing itself in sixth place in the qualifiers (with the same number of points as Ecuador) and in a direct qualification zone, with the dream of securing their third participation in a World Cup.
