Egyptians also top class against Bayern. Robin Koch needs teeth and claws against the pressing Bayern, and Ellyes Skhiri is redeemed at half time. The FR class book.

Impeccable

Omar Marmoush: The superlatives are slowly running out. Outstanding game, scored again, twice, now there are eight goals. His preparatory work for the 2-1 was brilliant, and he simply ran away from Upamecano. And with an eye on Ekitiké. Super. As good as ever.

Well done

Kaua Santos: Rock solid again for a long time. Very confident, radiated calm, made great saves a few times, especially against Thomas Müller (30th) or later against Coman (76th). Takes a lot of risk with a flat pass. He picks up the balls provocatively slowly, but he shouldn’t.

Hugo Etiquette: Ice cold at 2-1, took advantage of his first chance, that shows his class. But he also had a hard time and had to do a lot of things alone, but it was always dangerous when he had a little space. Went after a good hour.

Quite okay

Arthur Theate: Had a lot to do with Olise and Guerreiro on his side. Couldn’t always keep both of them under control, but often enough. He’s just a savvy defender.

Robin Koch: Hard work for the central defender, massive Bayern attacks came at him every minute. Defended with tooth and claw was also necessary. Very focused.

Total: It wasn’t easy against Müller and Kane, who castled a lot. But he went in and headed away what could be headed away. Tunneled the Englishman once cheekily.

Eric Dina Ebimbe: Came on for Ekitiké, first had to do defensive tasks, then get the game going, did that. Great preparatory work to make it 3-3. With brains.

So-so

Hugo Larsson: Had to walk a lot, a lot. Plug holes, iron out mistakes. Rarely had the ball at his feet for longer and tried to play his part in building up the game. Stayed trying

Ansgar Knauff: Perfectly prepared the 1:1° equalizer with a super pass. Afterwards, it was again noticeable with a fine plug-in fit. Had to work backwards a lot

Rasmus Kristensen: Had a lot of trouble with Serge Gnabry, who was in a great mood. He was often joined by Alphonso Davies, the two very fast ones. Often second winner, he had to put his entire routine into the balance. Not always successful, but never tired.

And Dahoud: Came on for the overwhelmed Skhiri, took a while to find his footing in this fast-paced game. Didn’t look so good at 2:3 by Olise (53).

Weakening

Fares Chaibi: Didn’t get a chance at all. As soon as he got the ball he was immediately bombed. His defensive behavior before the 2-2 draw was subpar. No impulses, but it was also difficult against Bayern’s pressing team.

Ellyes Skhiri: Often got his team into trouble himself. The game was too fast for him, weak plays, took far too long. Security risk. Rightly stayed in the dressing room for the break.

Came too late
