A meeting marks the start of the third block. “They’re a tough team, but they also know how to surprise away from home”warns Alexandre Plantier. The pillar, who arrived this summer, knows his former club well, with which he spent four seasons. He describes Aurillac as a bastion of training rugby, capable of standing up to the best Pro D2 teams. Biarritz players will have to manage the two receptions from Aurillac and Nice for two trips to Dax and Colomiers. For Plantier, the challenge lies as much in the mind as in the discipline: “This block can firmly position us at the top of the table, provided we do not underestimate our opponents.”
