Scrum half Yann Lesgourgues, 33, is at the end of his contract with Union Bordeaux-Bègles. Arriving in Gironde from his training club, Biarritz Olympique, Lesgourgues could well return to his roots.

According to L'Équipe, Lesgourgues and the Basque club have started increasingly concrete discussions. The door is therefore open for the native Bayonnais to return to the club where he grew up.
With his experienced profile, Lesgourgues would bring a major asset to the BO, in search of stability and leaders on the ground. Trained at the club, the scrum half knows the DNA of Basque rugby perfectly.
