The Pau Section won against the CO last Saturday but lost its captain. Yet author of the Béarnais’ first try, Beka Gorgadze was injured during the action which allowed him to cross the line. Replaced in the 3rd minute, the Georgian then watched the match from the substitutes’ bench with an ice pack on one of his ankles.
The third center line suffers from a major sprain as revealed this Wednesday by Republic of the Pyrenees. A hard blow for the Pau staff, who will have to do without one of their captains for several weeks. To date, it is impossible to know when Gorgadze will be able to put on his crampons again.
