To challenge Provence Rugby on its home field, this Thursday at 9 p.m., the CAB staff made five changes from the victorious Biarritz team. We take stock of the three things to remember.

1. First tenure for Hugo Verdu
Arriving this summer from Massy, Hugo Verdu will experience his first start this Thursday evening. Coming into play four times over the first six days, for only 30 minutes on the clock, number 9 will therefore have the responsibility of replacing Léo Carbonneau, on the sidelines.

2. The front five continues
We could have imagined changes from Biarritz ahead. There will be two with the entries of Rhaboni Vosayaco and Samuel Maximim alongside Courtney Lawes, but the staff has decided to maintain its confidence in the front five who had scored the BO.
3. Courtney Lawes and Jules Plisson will meet again
Nine years later, Courtney Lawes will therefore find the man he had literally cut up during the England – France Crunch, in March 2015: a certain Jules Plisson, then fly-half for the Blues.
An action which had marked the rugby world and which resurfaces as the two players will cross paths again on the field this Thursday evening, Jules Plisson starting with Provence at number 10.
