UBB has unveiled its new “Third” jersey. And the least we can say is that it pleases Girondin supporters. And they did not fail to let it be known on social networks.
A few weeks before the start of the Champions Cup, Union Bordeaux Bègles has indeed hit hard by unveiling its new jersey for the 2024-2025 season. Designed by Kappa, this jersey leaves no one indifferent with its design that is both sober and stylish.
The choice of blue as the main color seems to be inspired by the legendary Girondins de Bordeaux jersey from 1995-1996, at the time when a certain Zizou donned the tunic.
A clever wink that will appeal to football and rugby fans. The burgundy and white vertical stripes add a touch of modernity and recall the club’s Bordeaux roots.

The UBB had already hit hard with its first two jerseys, celebrating the heritage of the city and the pride of the South West. But this new outfit seems to have an even more striking effect on the supporters.
As a reminder, Yannick Bru’s men will face Leicester for their first Champions Cup match. Exciting matches against Ulster, Exeter and the Sharks will follow. A tough group stage which promises strong emotions for Bordeaux fans.
UBB and Kappa have succeeded in mixing tradition and fashion brilliantly. All that remains to be seen is whether this jersey will perform as well on the pitch as it does in the stands.
