“Very complicated to attend a match at La Rabine”

The majority of survey participants are in favor of the possibility of supporting RC in a larger venue.

“Essential, if we want the public to be able to attend an “important” match from time to time, as it seems to be very complicated to attend a match at La Rabine,” thinks François B.

“Making high-level rugby known in another Breton department, with a stadium capable of accommodating a larger number of spectators, would be a win/win for the RCV,” adds Pierre B.

For this relocation, it will be necessary to provide free transport for subscribers from Vannes.

They think, like 69% of voters, that relocating certain matches would be a good thing. “Let’s not forget that the RCV, beyond the city of Vannes, intends to be the standard bearer of Breton rugby,” adds this other participant who specifies however “as long as it does not exceed three times a year obviously”.

“La Rabine is indeed undersized for big Top 14 matches and the economic benefit could be very interesting for the Club,” continues Philippe R. For this relocation, free transport will have to be provided for subscribers departing from Vannes. »

“Sportingly, a challenge”

The 31% of voters against this relocation put forward the sporting aspect in particular: “They will no longer be at home for their home matches” or “Sportingly, it is a premature challenge”.

Other people argue by a potential change in mentality among supporters. “We must not end up with a football crowd who don’t know the rules and will whistle all the time… even if I don’t have a place either. »

The distance, longer for some, is also mentioned. “We have been following RC Vannes du Finistère for years. We are subscribers. For us, is a 3-hour drive there and back. Making such a trip is out of the question. »

For the moment, even if the president of RCV has mentioned the possibility of one or two relocations, nothing has yet been announced by the club.
