MISCELLANEOUS – Once again in the sights of justice. Footballer Wissam Ben Yedder, already indicted for “rape, attempted rape and sexual assault”is again accused of sexual assault, it has been revealed The Team and RMC this Monday, September 9.

Both media outlets are talking about events that allegedly took place on the night of Friday 6 to Saturday 7 September in the Alpes-Maritimes. The young woman born in 2001 allegedly met the French international in the evening, and accuses him of having attacked her in his car.
Wissam Ben Yedder was arrested around 3am drunk in Cap-d’Ail, after refusing to comply. He spent the weekend in police custody and will be tried in immediate appearance with a deferred deadline on October 15 for “sexual assault while clearly intoxicated, refusal to comply and driving under the influence of alcohol.”
Under judicial supervision
The 34-year-old footballer was placed under judicial supervision. The prosecution, which had requested provisional detention, has nevertheless appealed, specifies The Team. Wissam Ben Yedder’s lawyer, Hasna Louzé, did not wish to comment to the media who contacted her.
Wissam Ben Yedder has already been charged with rape for acts dating back to July 2023 on the Côte d’Azur. Two young women accuse the French international and his brother of having abused them during a party in Beausoleil, in the Alpes-Maritimes. The little brother, aged 25, has also been charged with the same acts.
