Very discreet for a little over a decade, the singer Sade returns to the studios. What motivated her to return to the stage? Her son Izaak Theo Adu-Watts, a young transgender man, to whom she dedicates this great return.
She hasn’t released an album since 2010. Aside from a few film songs, Sade has been very discreet in recent years. She will be back with a track to be discovered on November 22 in the compilation “Transa”, which brings together a hundred artists – including Sam Smith, Hunter Schafer, André 3000, Clairo and many others – united in support of the transgender community. For the organization “Red Hot”, she signs “Young Lion”, a tribute to Izaak Theo Adu-Watts, her transgender son, who deserves to be known.

He began his transition in 2016
Born in July 1996 to Nigerian-British singer Sade Adu and American-Jamaican music producer Bob Morgan, Izaak Theo was assigned female at birth. 20 years later, he began his transition. On YouTube, he confides, “I always knew I was a boy. When I was a child, my mother always let me be who I am.”
