The National Day around Lake Annecy

Around Lake Annecy, the July 14 festivities will not necessarily take place on the same date. They will therefore begin on July 13:

Veyrier du Lac – Thursday, July 13, from 7 p.m. Food-truck, popular ball and sound and light show on Mont Veyrier
Menthon Saint Bernard – Thursday July 13, parade of lanterns, popular ball organized by the firefighters and fireworks in the beach car park. From 9:30 p.m.
Talloires – Friday, July 14, from 9 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Fireworks, snack bar and musical entertainment in the bay. In case of bad weather, the fireworks alone will be postponed to Saturday July 15
Saint Jorioz – Thursday, July 13 at 10 p.m. The fireworks will be followed by the outdoor screening of the film The Aries Family

In Doussard, an event not to be missed

Doussard is putting on a big spread this year on the occasion of July 14 … which will actually take place on Saturday July 15. The festivities will take place from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., subject to favorable weather conditions. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed. Discover the program of the evening:

From 5 p.m., snack bar and refreshment bar open
From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., discovery outing in the Bout du Lac Nature Reserve with the Friends of the Reserve and Asters. Registration from 5.30 p.m. – €8 for adults and €5.50 for children
Around 7 p.m., demonstration of paragliding aerobatics
From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., Ski Club ball
10 p.m., fireworks

Shuttles will be set up free of charge from Lathuile, Marlens, Saint-Ferréol, Faverges and Giez. On the other hand, if you are on vacation and do not have a car, know that Europcar is offering a 25% discount on vehicle rental until July 20.

National Day around Annecy

Around Annecy, you can also enjoy the festivities linked to the National Day. Here are all the places, as well as the dates to remember:

Rumilly – July 13, from 7.30 pm – Concert by the Orchester d’Harmonie, then by the Réveil Rumilien on the David Navet esplanade. Ambient music and fireworks, ball.
In the event of rain, concerts and the ball will be maintained with a fallback to the village hall
Alby-sur-Cheran – July 14, from 7 p.m. Review of firefighters, Harmony concert and fireworks at 10:30 p.m., followed by the ball

Dingy Saint Clair – July 13 at 8 p.m., catering, refreshments and fireworks
Thones – July 14 at 10 p.m. Torchlight procession with the Harmony, the Young Firefighters and the Firefighters of the Empire of Thônes. Fireworks and ball.
Market of local producers and artisans from 5 p.m.
Le Grand Bornand – Starting at 16h. Inflatable structures, giant games. Concert by the Orchester d’harmonie, then by the group Red Balloons, fireworks and DJ evening.
