The Green Liberals want to better reconcile family and professional life. Their delegates, meeting on Saturday in Thun (BE), validated the launch of the initiative for 18 weeks of family leave for each parent, the party said in a press release.

According to her, such leave allows women to return more quickly and at a higher activity rate to the labor market. “This helps counteract the growing labor shortage,” added the Bernoise.
