Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salmane and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, visiting Saudi Arabia, signed an agreement to strengthen bilateral relations on Sunday, the Saudi state media announced.
During their meeting in Al-Ula, Oasis listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the North of the Kingdom, the two leaders addressed the opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as the regional and international developments of common interest, according to the Saudi news agency.
Facto leader of the kingdom and Giorgia Meloni signed an agreement to establish the Saoudo-Italian “strategic partnership board”, specifies the agency. An Italian government source said on Saturday that other agreements should be concluded, covering various areas such as defense, sustainable mobility, energy cooperation, sport and protection of cultural and archaeological heritage.
