Fodé Ballo-Touré in discussions with Le Havre

AC, looking for reinforcements to ensure its maintenance in Ligue 1, has set its sights on Fodé Ballo-Touré. The 28-year-old Senegalese left-back, free from any contract after terminating with AC Milan, could bounce back into the French elite. According to sources, the Norman club is in advanced discussions with the Senegalese international.

Trained at Saint-Germain, Fodé Ballo-Touré experienced his professional rise with between 2017 and 2019. After impressing with the Mastiffs, he joined Monaco, before signing with AC Milan in 2021. His stint in Lombardy, however, did not live up to expectations. In three seasons, he only played 26 games with the first team, without really establishing himself as a starter. A loan to Fulham in the 2023-24 season gave him Premier League experience, but again his playing time was limited to just six games. His last professional match dates back to May 2024 against Luton.

Currently 17th in Ligue 1, Le Havre needs a real boost to hope to maintain its position. With only 13 points on the clock and four lengths behind on the play-off place, the Norman club has no room for error. However, for this transfer to materialize, the player will probably have to lower his salary expectations, a key point in the current negotiations.
