Death of journalist Jean-François Kahn

French journalist Jean-François Kahn, founder of “L’Événement du Jeudi” and “Marianne”, has died at 86, announces “Le Point”.

After a history degree, he covered the Algerian war. This is how he launched a career as a journalist, notably revealing the Ben Barka affair.

Jean-François Kahn had worked for “Paris-Presse”, “L’Express”, Europe 1 and “Le Monde”. In 1983, he created “L’Événement du Jeudi” and, in 1997, “Marianne”.

We owe to this man with a strong character and marked opinions numerous books, such as “Everything changes because nothing changes”, “Critique of capitalist reason”, “The Rebels: Those who said no”, “Me , the other and the wolf”, “Victor Hugo, a revolutionary” or even “The Bullocrates”.
