A man aged around 45 died Tuesday in Rennes after his attack in a working-class district of the city, said public prosecutor Frédéric Teillet. “At this stage the link has not been made with drug trafficking,” he told AFP.
According to a source close to the case, he was beaten in the Blosne district south of Rennes around 6:15 p.m. by several people. On a plot surrounded by buildings, he was stabbed and had three wounds in his abdomen, according to the same source.
