“It is with great emotion that I announce the end of my collaboration with the Miss France Company. » It is with these words, published on her Instagram account this Wednesday, January 22, that Dijon resident Cindy Fabre confirmed the information published by Le Parisien at the start of the day.
Crowned Miss France 2005, the Dijonnaise (born in Nièvre) took the lead in the most famous beauty contest in 2022. Replacing Sylvie Tellier.
A mandate marked by strong choices
Without disrupting the DNA of the competition, the Burgundian's mandate was marked by several new developments concerning the criteria for participation in the election. We can notably cite the end of the age criterion, which allowed Angélique Angarni-Filopon, 34, to be elected last December. Women who are married or in a civil partnership, with children, as well as trans women and those with a visible tattoo can now also participate.
“I would have loved to continue carrying out this mission”
In her Instagram message, Cindy Fabre takes stock of these three years. And makes it clear that this departure was not necessarily planned.
-“I put all my energy and passion into this adventure, with the sincere desire to contribute to the evolution of the competition while preserving its identity and values. I would have loved to continue carrying out this mission that is so close to my heart, but sometimes life invites us to rewrite our path. »
And to assure that she will bounce back very quickly: “A new chapter is opening, with projects that deeply resemble me and that I can't wait to share with you. But one thing is certain: this adventure will remain forever engraved in my heart.”
