The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading close to equilibrium on Monday, its main index, the MASI, falling by 0.01% to 16,020.04 points (pts).

Shortly after the opening, the MASI 20, which brings together the 20 most liquid stocks, and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, fell, respectively, by 0.06% to 1,299, 58 pts and 0.11% to 1,116.5 pts.

Counter-trend, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, which evaluates the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, gained 0.37% to 1,673.22 pts. On Friday, the MASI closed with a loss of 0.37%.
