Developed by Forbes magazine, this list highlights companies that stand out for their working conditions, their attractive professional environment, and their ability to retain their employees. Some of them have even been among the best in Canada since a decade!
To establish this ranking, Forbes surveyed more than 40,000 people working in companies with 500 or more employees across the country. Employees were asked to rate their employer on various criteria, including salary offered, flexibility at work, training programs and opportunities for career advancement.
What you need to know: In total, 300 companies have been recognized as the best places to work in Canada in 2025. They come from varied sectors such as technology, education, energy, food, finance, and many others.
Here are the top 15 companies in the Forbes ranking:

Thus, five Quebec companies are positioned in the top positions of this pan-Canadian ranking.
Other employers in La Belle Province are part of the Forbes top 50, including Laval University (16th place) and the University of Sherbrooke (27th place).
