Despite the cold and the viruses circulating, many Antichan residents gathered in the multipurpose room last Saturday, at the invitation of Bernard Dumail and his municipal council to present their wishes. The mayor took stock of his team’s action in 2024 and presented the 2025 projects which will continue to improve the quality of life of residents: roads, management of water and the source which supplies the village, study of the future of Abbé Dumail’s house, management and conservation of the architectural and landscape heritage, support for the USCA (Antichanaise Cultural Sports Union) which provides cultural and festive activities… So many things and of energies which contribute to maintaining the vitality of a small rural town and its attractiveness. Bernard Dumail welcomed the seven new residents who arrived in the town last year. . . Thus and to finish, the glass of friendship allowed everyone to start a new year full of promises despite questions about support from the Region and the State whose budgets are increasingly restricted. It was clear that the commitment of those who dedicate themselves to the well-being of all always arouses just as much recognition from the residents to whom Bernard Dumail wished the best possible year in these troubled times on all levels.
