Macabre discovery of a man in a well in Keur Birane

A 31-year-old man was found dead in a well on Sunday, in the village of Keur Birane, located in the commune of Richard-Toll, a security source reported.
According to the testimonies collected, the victim suffered from mental disorders and was being monitored at the “Dalal Xel” health center in Thiès.
As soon as the alert was given, the Richard-Toll territorial brigade and the firefighters mobilized to extract the body from the well.
An investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy which plunged the village into consternation.
