The 2nd Arab Conference on Renewable and Sustainable Energy began on Saturday in Cairo, with the aim of finding innovative solutions to climate and environmental challenges in the Arab world.
Organized by the Union of Egyptian Engineers in partnership with the Union of Arab Engineers, this two-day conference brings together academics, researchers and experts to discuss the latest technologies in renewable energy.
The stated ambition is also to promote Arab cooperation through the strengthening of partnerships between the countries of the region.
The experts attached particular importance to the need to raise awareness among the public and Arab institutions of the importance of the transition to clean and sustainable energies capable of contributing to the protection of the environment.
Speaking at the opening of this conference, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Engineers, Adil Al Hadithi, emphasized the importance of cooperation between Arab countries in the field of renewable energies, particularly in light of the environmental and economic challenges facing the region.
