An important step for rural connectivity in Loir-et-Cher. Vincent le Duff, sub-prefect of Vendôme, inaugurated, Wednesday January 8, a 4G pylon in Landes-le-Gauloisin the presence of Mayor Eric Peschard and numerous elected officials from the department as well as representatives of the operators Bouygues Télécoms, Free, Orange and SFR.

“This project, resulting from the targeted coverage system of the New Mobile Deal, makes it possible to significantly improve internet access for mobiles in the sector,” state services underline in a Facebook post.
During this inauguration, the sub-prefect underlined the exemplary involvement of all stakeholders in the realization of this project. It allows communities to identify priority areas and operators to build infrastructure.
In Loir-et-Cher, 35 new shared 4G sites have been identified since 2018. Of these, 28 were in service and open commercially as of September 30, 2024.
