INVESTIGATION – Several influencers calling for violence against opponents of the Algerian regime have been arrested in recent days in France. These digital diatribes from influencers, far from being isolated, are symptoms of a Franco-Algerian relationship which is degenerating.
« The first one to touch Algeria, who tries to bring it down, who tries to create an Arab Spring, (…) We (members of the Algerian diaspora in France, Editor’s note) are the soldiers from outside, the sleeping soldiers. We will never let the country down. Mr. Tebboune (the Algerian president)Don't worry. » These comments are taken from a video published in early December on TikTok by an influencer named Onitrazek.
« If, tomorrow, we all have to become martyrs for Algeria, in short, I do not prefer to speak »he further advised. The sound of his video, taken up by Laksas06, another influencer from Lyon, has more than 1.2 million views on the Chinese social network.
The video of Laksas06, reported Monday to the authorities by the Rhône prefecture, echoes those of three Algerian influencers arrested at the end of last week in Brest, Échirolles and Montpellier for calls to carry out attacks in France and Algeria
