Angry farmers will block several roads entering and exiting Lyon this Monday, January 6. The Rhône Prefecture has communicated on the various blockage points which will be affected.
This Monday, January 6, a tractor convoy will leave Monts-du-Lyonnais from Chabanière near Mornant at 5am.
An action which will be organized by the association “Agri Chabanière” with the support of the Coordination Rurale 69.

“Very strong disruptions” on the A450, the M7 and the A7 near Oullins-Pierre-Bénite
On the eve of the demonstration, the Rhône Prefecture communicated on the roads which will be most strongly impacted by the movement of angry farmers. The first of the year 2025.
Thus, from “very strong disturbances” are to be expected from 5 a.m. mainly at the level of the A450, M7 and A7 interchange up toOullins-Pierre-Bénite in both directions of traffic. There departmental road D342 will also be affected.
“Given the extreme saturation expected on these roads, it is strongly recommended that motorists anticipate their trips and avoid these sectors”recommends the Rhône Prefecture.
A traffic lane reserved for emergency services and law enforcement
Fabienne BuccioPrefect of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, asked the organizers of this movement to systematically leave a free lane of traffic as a priority “for emergency and law enforcement vehicles.”
Law enforcement as well as road managers will be mobilized on the ground to secure and organize the maneuvers.
The Prefect finally asks motorists to follow the recommended routes (Bison Futé and mobilites.grandlyon.com) andbe careful around processions and blocking points.
