This mobilization, organized by the Agri Chabanière association and Rural Coordination 69, intends to denounce international agreements such as Mercosur and defend sustainable French agriculture.
In the Rhône, agricultural mobilization is picking up again after the holiday break. The tractors will converge from 5 a.m. from Saint-Didier-sous-Riverie. The convoy will take the D42 towards Saint-Maurice-sur-Dargoire, cross the Taluyers artisanal zone, then the Sept-Chemins to join the A450. The blocking of the M7, planned near the Pierre-Bénite radar, should begin around 8 a.m.
“This year, like last year, we won’t give up!” proclaim the farmers in a call for mobilization. Opposed to trade agreements like Mercosur, which they consider destructive for French agriculture, the participants demand support measures for a sustainable and sovereign agricultural model. Around fifty tractors, reinforced by colleagues from the Loire, Ain and Drôme, should participate in this action.
Significant disruption is expected on the A450 and the M7 from the early hours of the morning. Motorists are encouraged to plan their trips.
