There is no longer any doubt that it was an attack: at least fifteen people died and thirty others were injured during a car-ramming attack on New Orleans' Eve , in Louisiana.
For the city's mayor, LaToya Cantrell, this act is a “terrorist attack”. According to city police chief Anne Kirkpatrick, the driver deliberately drove into the crowd while trying to “to crush as many people as he could, he was fiercely determined to cause carnage”she said.
