The end-of-year Bye Bye ads are the Quebec equivalent of the Super Bowl ads for Americans. Advertisers compete in imagination and pranks, sometimes to the point where we come to confuse real humor sketches with advertisements.

Members of the public are also invited to vote for their favorite commercial from this cult show, for the chance to win prizes, as indicated at the bottom of this text.

The fuel supplier Harnois Énergies, whose head office is located in Joliette in Lanaudière, participated in the adventure this year, in partnership with the creative agency LG2 and the media agency Touché!.

The campaign features Les Denis Drolet traveling through the Harnois resorts of the province aboard their festive table, stocking up at each stop “with $20.25”, all to a song specially composed for the occasion.

“We are really proud to participate in the Bye Bye of advertising this year. This is an incredible opportunity for Harnois to show his sense of humor and his closeness to his community at the end of the year. This project was a great experience and we can’t wait to see the reaction of spectators,” declared Amélie Tremblay, marketing director at Harnois Énergies.

The ad will be rebroadcast on tou.tv and it is possible to vote until January 5, 2025. A draw will be organized and the winning person will receive a $1,000 gift card from a local business of their choice.

The draw will take place on January 6. You can vote and get a chance to win by clicking here.
