His only attempt in France was not conclusive at the start of the year in Vincennes but Beautiful Day (n° 10) showed a completely different side during the quinté support event, this Friday evening, on the eve of a weekend where a qualifying event for the Prix d’Amérique will be contested. Little known by French punters, the Alessandro Gocciadoro resident still won 21 races in Italy in 70 attempts, and this first victory in an event confirms her potential. “She was not impressive in the warm-ups but was more motivated in the others,” admits her driver, Benjamin Rochard, to whom everything smiles. The driver is on track to have his best season with 252 successes to his credit in 2024.
This success also results in a small part of luck because the remarkable end of the race of Chitchat (n° 10) could have surprised the professional. Enough to give its takers a cold sweat…
The favors, Chestnut (n° 14) finally had to settle for third place, after quickly finding himself in command despite his number in the second row. Haren de Marzy (n° 2) fails at the foot of the podium and is ahead Maggiore (n° 15).
Stéphan Flourent indicated the quarter in the disorder in six horses in our columns. Halim Bouakkaz, for his part, proposed the quinté in disorder in eight units.
