It was a family quarrel that turned into a tragedy. Tuesday, December 24, rue Robert Surcouf in Le Havre, a thirty-year-old beat his mother with extreme violence. The cause: the latter, who had agreed to accommodate him temporarily, allegedly asked him to leave the premises.

The police quickly arrived on the scene. On site, they noticed that the mother “has a swollen face“that she took”several punches to the face“, specifies a police source.

The man, born in January 1994, had, according to a police source, relationships “tense” with his family. The police arrested him. As he left the lobby of the building, this time it was his younger sister who rushed at him with a knife and tried to strike him, for, apparently, defending his mother.

She too is therefore arrested. Both placed in police custody, they admitted the facts in front of the images filmed by the intervention company’s pedestrian camera.

Eight days of ITT (total incapacity for work) are prescribed for the victim, born in 1967. The latter suffers from contusions and an orbital fracture.

The psychiatric expertise carried out on the alleged perpetrator of the beating shows that he is eligible for criminal sanction. Referral for violence against his ascendant, he was sentenced, on December 26, to three years in prison with a two-year probationary suspension, and imprisoned in the Le Havre remand center.

His sister, for her part, was placed under judicial supervision. She will be judged next May.
