Patrik Laine has been on fire since his return to the game.
Especially when the Canadian plays on the power play.
The forward scored eight goals in his first nine games with CH and he scored five in the last week alone.
The maverick's production does not go unnoticed: Laine was named third star of the week in the National League.
Cale Makar (eight points in four games) and William Nylander (seven points in three games) were named 1st and 2nd stars of the week, respectively:
This is a great recognition of Laine.
He missed so much time due to personal problems… And now since his return to the game, the striker has been producing as if he had never missed a second of action.
It really stands out.
On the other hand, it must do him good to see that his efforts are recognized.
We know that he was in a difficult place mentally, that he is difficult on himself because he has high expectations of himself… But at a certain moment, it's always appreciated to know that others love your work.
You have to be happy for the guy. And seeing him shine like that in Montreal is really refreshing for everyone.
I was at the Bell Center this week for his hat trick and that's where I saw that he is already a crowd favorite in Montreal.
This will continue if he continues to fill the net:
In burst
– Nice.
– How well done.
– I love the sweater!
– Logic.
