(Keystone-ATS) The final balance sheet for this day amounts very precisely to 2,704,456 francs, specifies the Chaîne du Bonheur in a press release published Thursday at the end of the day. The week of solidarity actions organized throughout Switzerland continues until Friday.

The money raised will help finance prevention, support and support actions for the young people concerned. This involves, for example, encouraging the development of shelters for young girls. Concrete and targeted aid is planned in Switzerland and abroad.

Elisabeth Baume-Schneider joined in the collection. The federal councilor, who formerly worked in the social sector, is particularly sensitive to these problems. “We must do even more, particularly for early childhood, so that all our children have a solid foundation for their development,” she said, quoted in a press release from the Chaîne du Bonheur.
