Two police commissioners and several staff members – the precise number is unknown – participated in this evening. After leaving the nightclub around 3 a.m., all the staff members returned home. All, except a police inspector who wanted to continue the evening alone by going to another “dance bar” type establishment. That’s when the situation escalated.

Obviously too drunk to be able to go inside, she was then rejected. She then rebelled against the leavers who called the police from the Brussels Capital Ixelles police zone. We have launched an internal investigation to better understand the context and what happened, but as the investigation is ongoing, I cannot make any further comments.” she explains.
Police inspector who sexually harassed colleagues could become commissioner
