According to the activist, the application of this law would represent a major danger for agriculture and public health in Senegal. He notably warned of the risks of cancer associated with GMOs and stressed that, even under the pretext of boosting agriculture, these organisms “would only cause problems”. The movement also calls for the repeal of the recently adopted amnesty law, considered unfair by a large part of the Senegalese population. Xrum forget. We will use all legal means to repeal this law. »
Furthermore, Nittu Deug asks that the President of the Republic no longer sit on the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSM), in order to guarantee greater independence of justice. The press conference, however, ended on a tense note: Karim Xrum Xaxx, accompanied by one of his comrades, was arrested by the police on the scene.
