The defense lawyers' pleadings continue at the Mazan rape trial before the Vaucluse criminal court in Avignon. Three lawyers took the stand this Tuesday morning for their three clients, against whom sentences of 10 to 15 years in prison were requested. And for the second time since the trial began, Gisèle Pelicot left the roomexasperated by the words of a lawyer.
Sylvie Menvielle, who defends Husamettin D., then evokes the “lies” by Dominique Pelicot and the form of manipulation he was able to exercise on the investigators with these dozens of videos carefully cataloged in his hard drive. “These videos are stolen, truncated sketches, edited under the prism of pleasure by Dominique Pelicotshe pleads. Lawyer Sylvie Menvielle continued her demonstration, without looking away.
