Genève-Servette continues at home. After beating Ambri at the end of a fantastic comeback on Monday, the Eagles won 2-0 against Fribourg-Gottéron. Ajoie, for his part, lost 6-3 in Bern.

We had to wait until the 16th minute to see one of the teams open the scoring, in this case Geneva. Vincent Praplan’s success confirmed the domination of the Genevans since the start of the match.

In the second period, the Friborgs recovered somewhat, but it was the Eagles who doubled the score in the 26th minute, with Tim Berni lighting the lamp.

In the final third, Friborg pushed to reduce the score and give themselves the right to believe in it. But, Anti Raanta showed himself solid in his cage to celebrate a whitewash and inflict a third defeat in a row on Fribourg.

Ajoie dominated in Bern

For its part, Ajoie was beaten 6-3 by Berne. The Ajoulots, who were dominated throughout the match, were already 2-0 down after 20 minutes via Bernese successes from Waltteri Merela in the 14th minute and Dominik Kahun 18 seconds from the first siren.

At the very start of the second period, Ajoie gave himself the right to believe in a comeback, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare reducing the score after 23 seconds of play. Weary for the Ajoulots, Joel Vermin gave the Bernese two steps back one step ahead. just over 4 minutes later. Far from giving up, the visitors took advantage of a numerical superiority in the 28th minute to come back to 3-2 thanks to Julius Nattinen.

But… 4 minutes later, Vermin made it 4-2, scoring a double in the process. The Bernese even took a three-point lead in the 36th minute following a success from Alain Graf. And despite a further reduction in Bellemare’s score in the 49th, Ajoie could never believe in a comeback and ended up conceding yet another goal, Ramon Untersander sealing the score in the empty cage 2 seconds from the final siren.
