Sakory KA known as Papis KA, brother of Doudou KA, was arrested Tuesday by the DIC. The police officers who had already arrested Sakory KA known as Papis in the morning carried out a search of Doudou KA’s family home in Nord Foire at the beginning of the afternoon.
According to judicial sources taken up by Kewoulo, Sakory KA worked with Jérôme BANDIAKY who provided him with “strong hands” to ensure the security of the homes of the former Minister of the Economy, Macky SALL.
According to sources close to the former regime, Papis KA, who was also his big brother’s confidant, had called on Sniper’s service on numerous occasions before cutting ties before him. Certainly frustrated by the fact that the KA brothers had “abandoned” him and decided to work directly with his men, Sniper Jérôme BANDIAKY had, on numerous occasions, made it known that Doudou KA and his clan had abandoned him. “They betrayed me,” he repeated to anyone who would listen.
And it was this Jérôme BANDIAKY arrested by the DIC and who was found carrying a weapon without authorization who informed the police that “it was Sakory KA, the younger brother Doudou KA, who sold him a machine gun ”.
Armed with this information, the police officers who went to the KA’s home, as part of a search, seized “a rifle” and “a handgun”.
According to initial information in Kéwoulo’s possession, “these weapons had belonged to the father of Doudou KA, a former Customs commander who had died more than a year ago. And when the patriarch died, the arms were registered in the name of his son, Papis, who remained as the guardian of the temple.” The young man will spend his first night in police custody in the DIC premises.
