Here are two accidents that occurred today in Quebec
First snow in the Quebec region, the fine rain this afternoon gave way to wet snow which froze on the surface.
Around 1:15 p.m., on the Laurentian highway, a semi-trailer truck ended up in the ditch on a curve near the Henri Bourassa Boulevard / Bernier Street overpass.
The accident does not appear to have caused any injuries.
The accident occurred shortly after the snow began, suggesting that the roadway must have been snowy and slippery.
LAST HOUR AT 3:55 p.m. – Accident in St-Gabriel de Valcartier on 5th Avenue. A school bus involved. We don’t know if there are any injuries? Emergency services in direction.
Second accident, around 2 p.m., this occurred in the same area, on the slope of rue de la Polyvalente, just outside Lac-St-Charles.
A female driver collided head-on with the back of a school bus parked on the side of the street. Obviously the coast was snowy.
Until now, no serious accident has been reported, indicated Béatrice Dorsainville of the SQ. However, several road exits and material collisions have been reported throughout the Quebec, Beauce and Portneuf region.
There are still a few days left, on December 1st, all motorists must have fitted their vehicles with winter tires.
3 p.m. in Quebec: accident involving two vehicles on the Félix Leclerc highway westbound at First Avenue, two out of three lanes are closed to traffic.
