Enactus and Tamwilcom launch “Level UP” to support 100 innovative startups
Enactus Morocco has just launched the call for projects for its “Level UP” support programan initiative labeled by Tamwilcom as part of the Innov Invest Fund. This ambitious program, designed to support startups and innovative project leaders in Morocco, targets the ideation phase, a key segment in the life cycle of emerging companies.

Since its creation in 2003, the Moroccan branch of the international NGO Enactus is committed to promoting social entrepreneurship and sustainable development. With more than 100,000 young people supported and an annual average of 400 projects supported, the organization now intends to broaden its impact through Level UP. This “Ideation” program focuses on the early stages of startup development, providing a favorable environment to transform innovative ideas into viable and competitive projects. Participants receive training, mentoring and access to essential resources to succeed in their businesses.

The call for projectsopen until December 8, 2024, aims to select 100 startups spread across several regions.

Candidates must meet strict eligibility criteria, including maximum seniority of five years, an innovative nature in their project and activity in strategic sectors such as l’AgriTech, la CleanTech, la FinTech or Industry 4.0. The companies selected will integrate a free program allowing them to access key resources for the development of their business, also including support for business creation and fundraising. Moreover, in addition to promoting innovation and strengthening skills, the program aims to prepare startups to meet potential investors helping them develop professional pitch decks and refine their fundraising strategies. Participants also benefit from access to investor networks and financing opportunities.

Also, one of the main objectives of the program is to help participants develop proofs of concept (PoC) solid. This makes it possible to validate the technical feasibility and commercialization of their ideas before moving on to development phases more advanced. Beyond the bootcamps and training sessionsthe program also offers ongoing monitoring to ensure startups are on the right track. This includes sessions of coaching post-bootcamp and regular assessments to measure progress and performance. The selection process is entrusted to committees of experts ensuring an independent evaluation based on human, technological, financial and commercial dimensions. At each stage, project leaders are supported to refine their vision, develop their skills and maximize their impact.

The programme Level UP extends over several months and is structured into key phases. After the closing of applications on December 8, 2024, a pre-selection of startups will be carried out in the following days. THE project leaders selected will participate in a first ideation bootcamp, scheduled for the end of December, followed by a presentation in front of a selection committee during a Pitch Day. Once selected, startups will benefit from intensive coaching and monitoring sessions post-bootcamp to refine their projects, until the final support planned for spring 2025.

Enactus et Tamwilcom thus reaffirm their common commitment to supporting innovation and contributing to the construction of a solid, inclusive and sustainable Moroccan entrepreneurial fabric.

As a reminder, following a call for expressions of interest, Enactus was selected in January 2024 among Tamwilcom’s partner support structures, for the “Ideation” segment, as part of the Innov Invest Fund. This fund was set up by the Ministry of Finance with Tamwilcom, with the support of the World Bank, in order to promote access to financing for startups and innovative project leaders.
